Methodist Health Care Center is an 84 bed extended care facility that
offers sensitive professional care for people of all religious, cultural, social, ethnic,
and economic backgrounds.
The Health Care Center is an essential element of United Methodist Elder Care’s
‘Continuum of Quality Care’ with skilled nursing care, independent living
apartments, and assisted living units on campus. Founded in 1978, UMHCC is an approved
Medicare and Medicaid provider. Inquiries regarding other insurance programs and HMO
coverage are invited.
Staff: Professional staff include an Administrator, Director of Nursing Service, Medical Director, Activities Director, Chaplain, and Culinary Services Director. Nursing services are provided by experienced and compassionate personnel. With Theracor Rehab in the facility, residents can attain their optimal level of independence with physical, occupational, and speech therapy right on site.
Services: Our intention is to enhance life; adding comfort, convenience, and joy to resident’s lives. A comprehensive activities’ schedule includes "Dine Out" trips, crafts, socials, exercise class, cooking, shopping, and special entertainment. Respite and short term care are available.
Surroundings: While we have established an environment where optimal health care can take place, the surroundings are warm and inviting. Residents are encouraged to personalize their room with small accessories - maybe an easy chair or a favorite chest. Private rooms are available.
