Special Note To Couples

More than one couple have found it necessary for a spouse to reside in Linn Health Care Center after a hospitalization while the other remains in their Winslow Gardens' apartment.

This situation is so much more manageable in a 'continuum of care'! The couple can dine together, relax together, and socialize together during the recuperation period.

Transportation is not an issue - their spouse is just down the hall.

Special Note To Singles

In the case of single persons living here - The transition from independent living to assisted living is seamless.

An assisted living resident eats meals in the dining room, enjoys activities in the lounge, and socializes with the same friends she has had since she moved into Winslow Gardens. The level of care and monitoring increases but is not intrusive.

If that same resident requires nursing home care, she will return to her own assisted living apartment when her recovery is complete.

Truly, It's About Peace Of Mind!

The United Methodist Elder Care Campus is designed to provide each resident with the living environment and level of care that best suits the individual’s needs.

Our East Providence campus sites independent living apartments, congregate dining, assisted living apartments, nursing home care, and rehabilitative services. At this point you may picture yourself (or someone you care about) as a candidate for one, specific, residential setting here.

We encourage you to take the value of our ‘Continuum’ into account in your decision making process.

For each of us, aging is about change; and successful aging is about adapting and thriving in the face of those changes.

At United Methodist Elder Care, you will be able to adjust your living arrangement without the dislocation of an out-of-community move. And, you can use just those supportive services that enhance your lifestyle. This ‘transitional ease’ is an invaluable assist to adaptive aging.
